What is Process Serving?

Process serving is the act of delivering legal documents to an individual, business or organisation as part of the legal process. Process serving is an integral part of the legal system as it ensures the individual, business or organisation are notified of legal proceedings and they are given the opportunity to respond.

Why use a Process Server?

Imagine knocking on the door of somebody you may or may not know, someone who owes you money and who you want to leave your property, and you need to serve them with legal documents to commence proceedings. Do you know how they will react? Do you want to get into a heated debate with them on the doorstep about the matter? Using someone who is independent is the perfect reason to instruct a Process Server to carry out this most important task. It is imperative that the task is carried out in accordance with the law and within strict guidelines, otherwise the court could declare service was not properly conducted and either postpone proceedings or even rule in favour of the other party. By instructing Resolve Legal Solutions to look after this important role, you will have peace of mind the legal process is being handled by professionals who are experts in their field.
