Resolve Legal Solutons was founded by Karl Starkey who saw a need for proactive, responsive and ethical investigations services. Karl enjoyed a long and decorated career in the UK Armed Forces serving in the Royal Navy Police. Initially assigned to uniform general policing patrol duties, he would later qualify as a detective and join the Special Investigations Branch where he investigated serious and complex crimes. During his time in the SIB, he trained and qualified as a Crime Scene Investigator, and shortly after he was posted to the Royal Military Police Specialist Operations Regiment where he was assigned to the Scientific Support Unit. A dedicated forensics unit, they were tasked with supporting investigators in the UK and globally with forensic advice, support on the ground, and forensic submissions.
On leaving the Armed Forces in 2018, Karl worked in several sectors and roles including Charity and Further Education, before he made the decision to set up his own business in May 2022. Karl is proud to be the founder of Resolve Legal Solutions and aims to set himself apart from his competitors in the market through the adoption and application of strong values, ethics and standards that where embedded within his fabric during his time in the military. Karl will go above and beyond the call of duty to provide his clients with the best experience and possible outcome.
